I have to say I have been very busy with life and being very lazy too.

As this year is ending (scarily fast) I'm beginning to think of my new year resolutions. Like any other girl losing weight or sticking to a exercise routine is #1 on my list. My other resolution is to write on my blog at least three days a week. This resolution also comes tide with getting crafty, doing DIY projects and taking photography classes.

In order to achieve these resolutions I need a space where I can get creative, therefore I need a home office that serves as an creative outlet. I already took the "before" picture, let's see how the after picture comes out :)

Hi lovelies, I have been super full with school, fashion portfolio is killing me :( and I'm also extremely tired with the whole driving to Miami and back (plus all the miles I'm adding to my car). I'm leaving to Aruba tomorrow with my bf, even thou I had vacations two weeks ago, I feel I deserve this one lol. Mara Hoffman Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011

Last weekend I worked in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Me and my friend Melissa had to welcome VIP guest to their front row seats. It was a very good experience, because I had a pass to go to every show and cut all the lines haha. There where many good shows, but my favorite one was the Mara Hoffman show. It was amazing, pretty much what I would wear to the beach.

Hi Lovers ! For the last three months I have been living in three places at once. Orlando, Sunrise and Miami are my three homes right know and it's crazy. I have clothing scattered all over the place, when I'm getting dress I always have an item that I am missing because I forgot to pack. There is nothing better than a sunday brunch. I like to spend Saturday nights in company of friends then waking up close to noon on Sundays. My typical first meal in a brunch would be eggs benedict with a side of OJ and of course you can't go to a brunch and not have a mimosa. So, what to wear ? It usually depends of the kind of quality of the restaurant. I usually wear a dress with wedges and a statement piece of jewelry. For me this outfit screams Sunday brunch.

I am always on the hunt for the best cookies and cupcakes in town. I love Neiman Marcus, they have the best designer handbags selection, but I also go there for their cookies in the Mariposa restaurant. They are the most delicious cookies that I have ever tried.

About a year ago my dad sends me an email about a recipe and guess what ? they were the Neiman Marcus cookie recipe. I was static (they charged like $300 for the recipe RIDICULOUS). I wanted to share the famous recipe.

Neiman Marcus Recipe

2 cups butter
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder)
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 tsp. salt
1 8 oz. Hershey bar (grated)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet..Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.. Have Fun!!!

I have been following the fashion shows for Paris Haute Couture Fall 2010. They have been incredible but I am also very impressed that all the garments are very wearable. In Haute Couture garments are always over the top, kind of amazing to look at, but only on the models. This year I think I would wear every single piece that I have seen. My favorite shows so far have been Chanel and Valentino. The Valentino collection is feminine, delicate details, beautiful bows, big roses and still seeing sheer in the catwalks, so this trend will continue to be seen till the end of this year. This collection made me really excited.

I wore this outfit over the weekend for a dinner date in Miami. I found this gorgeous floral skirt in Urban Outfitters in sale for $20, I love a really good deal. I paired the skirt with a white top with nude shoes and clutch. I love wearing a white simple top with all my skirts, I feel is the best way to let the skirt be the focal point of the outfit. One tip I always give is to wear nude shoes if your outfit has a lot of things going on, that way it looks clean cut plus your legs look longer when you wear nude heels.

I am taking some photography classes in order to have better pics for you guys. None of my pics are Photoshop, I will be taking some Photoshop classes next month, you guys will definitely see the difference.

Sex and the City 2 premiere is coming up in three days !! I am so excited to see all the girls and their perfect outfits. Last weekend was one of those incredible weekends. I went to Bimini, which is a little island of the Bahamas. It is a very small island but with a lot of things to offer. There are two ways to get there, by a charter flight from Miami or by boat. We got there by boat, it is only two hours and half from Miami. Here are some pics I wanted to share.

I have to admit I am a polish freak. I always want my nails in a different color each week and I am even more obsess about polish chipping. There is one color that has won my heart this spring and it is essie's Tart Deco. It's the perfect shade of orange to rock this spring and summer looks.

Another thing that I love is that you can get the whole essie spring collection in miniature, that way you can use all the colors for that season finish them and then buy the next season's colors. FABULOUS !!

I don't like spending too much money on a trend that I am only going to wear for a season, so I decided to go to Forever 21 to look at their affordable things. I actually got a men's shirt ( I know I'm weird). I paired it with some khaki shorts I had in my closet and the Jeffrey Campbell Tic.

Hi Lovers, right now I'm on vacation and promise myself not to blog, but I could not resist to show you guys my new camera, I been doing research for a month on what camera to get, Canon or Nikon ? I went for Nikon after reading all the web reviews and asking various photographers. I got the Nikon D3000 and so far it's amazing.

My budget was $500.00 but then of course I had to buy the camera bag, best buy warranty e.t.c

Obsession Du Jour

As I said before I always have an obsession that I research over and over again. Right now I live in Orlando but I drive to Miami every Thursday ( crazy I know) and then go back Mondays to Orlando to go to class. It's been almost four years that I left my hometown Maracaibo to live here in America, it was a very tough decision but by far the best one I have made in my life. In a couple of months I would be moving permanently to Miami and finally getting my own place to love and decorate. Lately I been obsessing with zebra rugs, something I am going to buy for my crib.
