Designer Spotlight : Jules Reid

I have been searching for new upcoming designers and Jules Reid has to be one of my favorite designer right now. She uses very bold colors, vibrant patterns and very easy chic designs with a touch of a vintage feel.

Power Color

I just realized that every time I'm designing a room or helping someone out design their apt I always advise to use  orange to add color and life to any room. No wonder why my boyfriend's place and my place have orange chairs , pillows, vases, lamps and much more. Addicted to orange. 

If I ever have two boys this is how their room would look like.

Hot, Hot Sizzling Summer

I am so excited summer is officially here, thinking of tiny bikinis, tanned skin and sandy wavy hair. I live between Orlando and Miami and it is def one of the best cities to be in summer. I am happy to say that the beach is my backyard and I live where most people vacay :)

This editorial from Harper's Bazzar Spain July 2010 made me even more excited about summer.

Floral Pastel

I wore this outfit over the weekend for a dinner date in Miami. I found this gorgeous floral skirt in Urban Outfitters in sale for $20, I love a really good deal. I paired the skirt with a white top with nude shoes and clutch. I love wearing a white simple top with all my skirts, I feel is the best way to let the skirt be the focal point of the outfit. One tip I always give is to wear nude shoes if your outfit has a lot of things going on, that way it looks clean cut plus your legs look longer when you wear nude heels.

I am taking some photography classes in order to have better pics for you guys. None of  my pics are Photoshop, I will be taking some Photoshop classes next month, you guys will definitely see the difference.

Harper's Bazaar Mexico 

Black has to be one of my favorite colors, when you don't know what to wear it is your best choice, makes you look slim and it matches with every other color. If you don't have a LBD in your wardrobe then you are not a girl. I really like this editorial because of the color, poses, models, lighting and attitude. Enjoy !

Found It

I finally found the designer for Miranda's dress in Sex and City 2. There were a lot of  beautiful dresses but this is my favorite one in the movie. The dress is a bold statement and not what we are use to see on Miranda.

The dress is by Julien Macdonald. This dress is to die for.
